Texas Ranger Drops Jade Helm Bombshell: “There Are Trains With Shackles On Them”

The reports about the coming Jade Helm 15 operation across the southwest continue to suggest that this is not merely a standard training exercise to prepare our military personnel for foreign engagements as has been suggested by officials.
A letter sent to Dave Hodges at The Common Sense Show by a concerned Texas Ranger indicates that the government is preparing for a scenario similar to what has been described in William Forstchen’s recent novella Day of Wrath in which ISIS terrorists cross the southern border of the United States and simultaneously attack soft targets across the nation.
But the letter doesn’t stop there. The Ranger, who has kept his identify private for obvious reasons and makes clear that the scope of Jade Helm is so secret that the intent is not completely clear, says that the JH15 mission objectives may go much farther than just preparing for terrorists. According to the law enforcement insider there are trains moving throughout Texas and some of them have been outfitted with shackles, presumably to “transport prisoners of some sort.” The claim adds further credence to a report about Jade Helm dissident roundups and arrests and widespread martial law declarations following an emergency.
His letter sheds some light on the Walmart store closings, suggesting at least one may be utilized in a national security capacity as a staging point for the Department of Homeland Security, an agency that is apparently not trusted by anyone within the Texas Rangers organization, according to the source.
The full letter follows:
Hello Mr. Hodges,
I have been a Texas Ranger for quite some time, and as such, I am privy to much of what is going on with regard to the Midland Walmart store closing, the presence of ISIS on Texas soil and our preparations to combat an insurgent threat.
I will not give you my rank or location because it would not be safe to do so. It is a waste of time to try and trace the IP#, etc., as I have taken steps to ensure that this note cannot be traced back to me.  I understand and  realize that you seem to have a growing issue with people who will not go on the record with their inside knowledge or first-hand observations, but you cannot understand the pressure and scrutiny that some of us are under. I am taking a big risk writing this email to you.
The main reason that I am writing to you is to encourage you to keep writing on the growing threat of infiltration in Texas and I suspect other states as well. The infiltration I am writing about is not just Special Forces that are going to conducting covert drills in our state. that is concerning and I agree with you this involves martial law.  For now I am talking about ISIS and the danger that they pose to all of us. Our intelligence indicates that they have enough manpower & firepower to subdue a small town. The Midland Walmart takeover by DHS is a national security move in which we have been told falls under the Continuity of Government provisions. The Threat Fusion Centers are providing related information on what it is we are facing but the information sharing is only in one direction and that is very concerning.
We expecting an attack on more than one Texas city or town by ISIS and/or any of their partners. I believe the information to be accurate. However, this makes the covert operations of groups like the Navy Seals and others under JH15 highly suspicious. We do not need the insertion of Special Ops into Texas towns and cities. I think that you are probably right about the intention of arresting political undesirables given what we know about JH15. I am of the opinion that whatever the mission objectives of JH15, they have nothing to do with the immediate threat. Therefore, I do not pretend to understand the full scope of JH 15 because there are unfolding operational details which are almost impossible to reconcile with what I already know to be fact based the evidence for what is going on.
Let me drop a bombshell that I have not seen you address. There are trains moving throughout Texas that have shackles inside some of the cars. I have not personally seen them, but I know personnel that have seen this. This indicates that these trains will be used to transport prisoners of some sort. I know from reading your articles that your default belief will be that these are for American political prisoners and will be transported to FEMA detention camps of some sort. We have been told by Homeland that these trains are slated for transporting captured terrorists, non-domestic. We are not sure we can trust this explanation because Homeland is keeping a lot from us and we are growing increasingly uncomfortable with their presence in Texas.
I wanted to tell also you that we believe that Pantex is a high value target for ISIS and much or our preparation is to thwart any action by terrorists against the facility.  I am wondering how in the hell you figured that out. Someone on the deep inside must be talking with you.
Keep writing Mr. Hodges, you and the underground media are making a difference. As I am sure you know, Colorado announced today that JH15 is suspended in that state. Unfortunately, we do not have that prerogative because we believe that we are under the threat of eminent attack here in Texas.
I do believe the ISIS threat is legitimate. But you are also correct to suspect the motives behind the JH15 drills. They are clouded in secrecy and we have been shut out regarding their operational intent. The people of Texas and all of the United States of America should be pushing back against JH15.
I will support the Feds in their preparation against ISIS. But the moment that this action turns against our locals is the moment I will perform my oath of office. I am not alone in this feeling. None of my brothers trust Homeland. We will have to see where this is going but I have a bad feeling.
You do your job and keep writing and I will do my job in upholding the Constitution
Thank You
The suspicions of the public are quite justified, it seems. The operational commanders for Jade Helm have compartmentalized the “exercise” to such an extent that no one, not the local and state law enforcement officers involved or the majority of military personnel, has any idea what is actually going on.
As noted in the letter, a realistic threat from our southern border certainly exists and as we’ve written previously, Border Patrol and Homeland Security have been capturing suspected terrorist operatives crossing into the United States for years. But the Texas Ranger who penned the letter says this is not necessarily the full scope of the massive Summer exercise.
And given that people within his own organization report seeing shackles in trains, is it completely out of the question to suggest that the government does, in fact, have procedures in place to detain, transport and imprison those suspected of terrorism, or those who may be suspected of being suspected?
When Gerald Celente warned of the Auschwitz Express back in a 2012 interview he wasn’t joking:
First it was the Patriot Act. Now it’s the National Defense Authorization Act. And then it was Obama’s Executive Order giving El Presidente Los Estados Unidos the supreme right to call Martial Law at a potential threat – a potential threat.
Then there’s Big Bro over there, Attorney General Eric Holder, who just passed these guidelines that could let them listen in to what we’re saying right now, listen to you on your cell phone, watch every stroke of your keyboard, and they at the White House could then determine whether or not the algorythms add up to you being a terrorist or a potential terrorist.
Big Brother never had it so good.
…all aboard the Auschwitz Express…
…That’s what’s going on here… and the people don’t see it, and they’re afraid to speak up… People don’t want to believe it.
We will soon find out if Jade Helm is just another military exercise. Some are of the opinion that it could be used to facilitate a false flag operation that would then be used as justification to implement nationwide martial law and to activate Doomsday Executive Orders recently signed by President Obama.
It may sound wildly conspiratorial, but it wouldn’t be the first time a government has purposefully engaged in such conduct.

The Obama's Kept It 100 about the reality of Black Males in America in 2008!!!!!

If you’ve been paying attention to the news lately it seems like every other week there is another story about law enforcement using excessive force against Americans and many of the victims are black. But just how many US citizens are being killed by police? No one really knew, until now. American data scientist and activist Sam Sinyangwe noticed the lack of information on this prevalent issue and took action. With the help of some fellow activists and researches was born. It is a national database that compiles statistics on police killings, with a focus on African Americans who are killed, although other races are also covered.

Sam Sinyangwe found the lack of accurate information on police violence troubling as a data scientist. He grew up in the same Florida neighborhood where Treyvon Martin was shot down and when Michael Brown was killed in Missouri, he knew he had to do something. Sam stated in an interview on CNN, “A recent report by the Bureau of Justice Statistics basically admitted that the official statistics were undercounting the number of people killed by police by over 50%.” What a frustrating misuse of tax dollars!
“As a young black man, I felt unsafe,” Sinyangwe told TakePart. “This [killing of citizens by police] was happening everywhere—not just in Ferguson. Yet we didn’t really have the data to show how widespread this issue was, and how black people in particular are being targeted by police violence.”

How can a national issue begin to be addressed when we don’t even have accurate information on it? Making people aware of the scope of this problem is the first step and goal of Mapping Police Violence. The database covers “90 percent of the universe of police killings according to the best research available out there,” Sinyangwe stated. In 2014 the researchers discovered at least 1149 people were killed by police, 304 of them were black people and of those, 101 of them were unarmed. That shows that 26% of the US citizens killed by law enforcement in 2014 were black.

These statistics show the dark side of law enforcement in America, one that hopefully will begin to change. Nationwide it is 3x more probable for black people to be killed by police than it is for any other race. But it varies by location, for example they found that in Oklahoma, African Americans are 10x more likely to be killed by law enforcement than black people in Virginia.

Sam Sinyangwe and his colleagues continue to track police violence as well as compile data for past years to establish trends. Their goal is to bring this data to the attention of the general public as well as elected officials to create change. Let’s hope that awareness of this issue will lead to less Americans being killed by police.

Police Shoot Two Unarmed Men 377 Times, In Car That Had Already Crashed

Police abuse doesn’t get much more flagrant than this. Recently dozens of Miami-Dade police officers filled Adrian Montesano’s vehicle with 377 bullet holes, shot from every imaginable angle.
The frenzied show of police force was described by witnesses as “chaotic” and “contagious” in nature.
The vehicle’s 2 occupants had been trying to surrender, but 23 police officers in total decided to act as judge, jury and executions, shooting up the car, the suspects and also neighboring houses, businesses, vehicles. Even fellow police officers were hit by the insane barrage of bullets from the high capacity magazines carried in triplicate by each officer.
The events began back in the early morning hours of December 10th, 2013, but questions about the massive show of police force have begun to mount in the community.
Adrian Montesano had already crashed, and his vehicle remained pinned between a utility pole and a tree after an earlier police pursuit around 5:00 a.m.
Dozens of officers aimed their M4 assault rifles, as well as high capacity handguns towards the from every angle, and for several minutes, they shot round after round into the unarmed suspects.
Anthony Vandiver witnesses the assault from his house. He ran upstairs to watch the whole thing unfold, from a perfect, unobstructed view.“They said, ‘put your hands up!’  And the guys were still moving after they shot, like maybe 50-60 times,” Mr. Vandiver told CBS-4 Miami.  “And the guys tried to put their hands up, and as soon as they put their hands up, it erupted again.”
“The policemen that had on the black and white vests were out there laughing like it was so funny because they got a free shot off them people,” another neighbor, speaking on the condition of anonymity added.
Finally, 2 different officers were struck by so-called friendly fire. Other officers had their eardrums ruptured from the sheer duration of fire.
“Get all the officers off to the side.  We’ve got to get rescue in here,” one panicked officer could be heard saying on a radio transmission. “There’s too many officers here! Back them up!!”
Adrian Montesano and his passenger, Corsini Valdes, were long dead by that time, but officers continued to fire.
“That was it for them. That guy tried his best to give up,” Vandiver recounted “I swear to God; on everything I love, my kids my momma, everything.  I seen it all.”
Spread the word. These killer cops will continue to get away with these crimes if we continue to remain silent about it. The only way to force this to an end is through widespread, public outrage!

Billionaire philanthropist David Rockefeller has undergone successfully his sixth heart transplant in 42 years at the venerable age of 99 years old.
The heart transplant surgery, which lasted 6 hours and was done by a team of private surgeons at his principal residence, on the family estate in Pocantico Hills, New York, doesn’t seem to have tired the legendary business man known for his dynamism and cunningness.
His first heart transplant occurred in 1976 after a dramatic car accident led him to suffer a heart attack. He was operated 24 hours later and up and jogging a week later.
David Rockefeller will be resting for the next weeks in his Hanuatu Island complex after he underwent successfully his sixth heart transplant in 42 years at the venerable age of 99.
The 99-year old man allowed reporters to ask him a few questions only 36 hours after the operation, a testament to the sturdy health of the American icon.
«Every time I get a new heart, it is like the breath of life is swept across my body. I feel reenergized and alive»he told reporters.
Asked about the secret to his longevity, Mr Rockefeller explained a simple life is the way to go.
«People often ask me this question and I always answer the same thing: Love life. Live a simple life, play with your kids, enjoy the things you have, spend time with good loyal friends» he acknowledged with a kind smile.
«I’ve made a lot of money in my life, but I’ve given most of it away. There is no point of having if you can’t share» explained the renown philanthropist.
The man that has also had two kidney transplants in 1988 and 2004 is still extremely positive about his health and hopes to live up to 200 years, he told reporters jokingly and in good spirit, only hours after his operation.

Amazing supercells drop at least two tornadoes, softball-size hail in Texas

It was a dangerous weather night in parts of northern Texas on Sunday as powerful supercell thunderstorms dropped at least two potentially long-lived and intense tornadoes and large hail the size of softballs.
Storm spotters began to report tornadoes on the ground at around 3:45 p.m., and the reports continued to flow in until 12:30 a.m. The tornado reports spanned eight counties in north central Texas just south of the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area.

The radar loop (above) shows two supercell thunderstorms develop the classic “hook echo” before merging into one large storm. That bow-echo storm continued across eastern Texas with damaging straight-line winds.
The dangerous Texas supercells boasted stunning structure. Timelapse video of the storm near Stephenville, Texas, (above) shows the mesocyclone — the spinning updraft — rotate as it builds tall into the sky. As the storm became more mature, the aquamarine hue of hail can be seen in the updraft in this photo from storm chaster Ryan Shepard:
Massive hail stones fell from the storms, some larger than a softball. Hail with a diameter of 4.25 inches was reported in Stephenville, Texas.
Hail coated the ground around Dublin, Texas, in the as the storms rolled through.

These Guy Had An SAT Cheating Ring , But Weren't Sent To Prison Like The Teachers In Atlanta !!!

Sam Eshaghoff took the SAT’s for at least 16 other people in return for thousands of dollars in payments. His punishment for massive fraud and robbing 16 other hardworking students a spot in the college of their choice: community service.
This punishment is in stark contrast to the punishment of the school teachers in Atlanta who were also caught cheating on a standardized test. Many of these teachers went to prison.
Since his scam was unveiled, Eshaghoff has become a star and tutor, appearing on 60 minutes and rebuilding his life. He doesn’t have to go through life as a felon as will many of the teachers in Atlanta. Is that fair?

Recent Supreme Court Ruling Confirms Republicans are Trying to Disenfranchise African-Americans

Back in 2013, the Supreme Court proved how out of touch it can be when it issued a ruling striking down a key provision in the Voting Rights Act that required several states (mostly in the South) with a history of racism and discrimination to get federal approval before changing election laws. Obviously these laws were put in place due to the continued attempts by many of these states to disenfranchise African-American voters.

Well, in a 5-4 vote along ideological lines, the Supreme Court dissolved that requirement, opening the door for Republican legislatures all across this country to swiftly begin changing their voting laws to, once again, disenfranchise African-American voters.

To be fair, many of these new voter ID laws seek to disenfranchise almost any demographic that tends to vote for Democrats, not just African-Americans – though they’re clearly a primary target. At that time, Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. wrote: “Our country has changed. While any racial discrimination in voting is too much, Congress must ensure that the legislation it passes to remedy that problem speaks to current conditions.”

Basically, because he felt “times have changed,” he felt the Voting Rights Act in its current form was antiquated and called upon Congress to fix it for a more modern society. It was a classic case of trying to fix something that wasn’t broken – or at least that’s the excuse the conservatives on the Supreme Court were using. Naturally, two years later Congress hasn’t attempted to do a single thing to update the Voting Rights Act, mainly because Republicans don’t want to “fix it” since they like having the ability to rig elections. (Not that anyone with even a shred of common sense expected Republicans in Congress to actually “fix” the Voting Rights Act in the first place.) Well, in a recent ruling, the very same Supreme Court basically contradicted itself when it ordered a review of North Carolina’s recent redistricting, more or less admitting that Republicans in that state unlawfully gerrymandered congressional districts to weaken the influence of African-American voters. This decision follows a similar ruling where the Supreme Court threw out a lower court’s decision that upheld Alabama’s Republican-drawn congressional map, with the highest court in our land stopping just short of calling the state’s redistricting “unconstitutional.”

So, in the court’s 2013 ruling they claimed that “times have changed,” therefore requiring federal approval before some of these states could change their voting laws needed “updating” by Congress - yet here they’ve ruled two separate times that two states with a history of racism, segregation and discrimination unlawfully redrew congressional districts to weaken the African-American influence in those states. In other words, times really haven’t changed. Many of these states are still doing just about everything they can to disenfranchise African-Americans when it comes to their representation in our government and their voting rights in general. Because studies show that the largest demographic that these new voter ID laws target is African-American voters. But with these recent rulings by the Supreme Court basically admitting that Republicans in North Carolina and Alabama intentionally redrew congressional districts to disenfranchise African-Americans, they essentially contradicted their 2013 ruling on the Voting Rights Act because these states continue to show that even more than 50 years after the Voting Rights Act was passed, conservatives are still doing whatever they can to strip away the voting rights of African-Americans and any group that might vote against them.

Report Confirms That Police Killed Natasha Mckenna With Her Hands Cuffed And Legs Shackled

"A mentally ill woman who died after a stun gun was used on her at the Fairfax County jail in February was restrained with handcuffs behind her back, leg shackles and a mask when a sheriff’s deputy shocked her four times, incident reports obtained by The Washington Post show."

Natasha McKenna upon her graduation from W.T. Woodson High School in Fairfax. (Family photo)
This woman was Natasha McKenna, - 37, who was diagnosed as schizophrenic aged 12- a petite mother of a young child. Any explanation as to why it was acceptable to use a 50,000-volt Taser four times on a woman whose hands are handcuffed behind her back, legs restrained, with a mask on is completely bogus.

Natasha McKenna initially cooperated with deputies, placed her hands through her cell door food slot and agreed to be handcuffed, the reports show. But McKenna, whose deteriorating mental state had caused Fairfax to seek help for her, then began trying to fight her way out of the cuffs, repeatedly screaming, “You promised you wouldn’t hurt me!” the reports show.

Numerous experts said the use of a stun gun on a fully restrained prisoner was an unreasonable use of force, particularly in a jail setting where a person is unlikely to flee. They also said Tasers are not recommended for use on the mentally ill, that even the Taser manufacturer warns against using them on people in a state of “excited delirium,” and that using a stun gun more than three times is thought to be above the threshold for use on a single person.

“She wasn’t a threat; she wasn’t going anywhere; she was restrained,” said Richard Lichten, a use-of-force expert and former jail official in Los Angeles. “It feels excessive, unnecessary and out of policy, based on what you’re telling me.”

The account comes from dozens of pages of sheriff’s deputy incident reports that provide the first complete account of the events leading to the death of the Alexandria mother that has troubled her family and local mental health advocates.
A restraint chair in the Fairfax County jail, similar to one used to hold Natasha McKenna after deputies shocked her four times with a Taser on Feb. 3, 2015. She later died and police are investigating. (Tom Jackman/The Washington Post)

The truth is, though, that police have been covering up the real details on Natasha's death for months. Furthermore, multiple sources told NBC that police detectives were denied access to the Fairfax County jail for their investigation into her death. Only after two months of pressure was it revealed that Natasha McKenna was as physically restrained as a human being could possibly be when she was tasered over and over and over and over again.

Even after all of this, police are not quite clear on why Natasha McKenna was even jailed in the first place. On the day she was arrested, she had actually called the police herself to report being assaulted and appeared to be struggling mightily with mental illness before she bounced around between hospitals and jails for days.

As a nation, we have clearly set ourselves up for failure with mental health. In need of compassionate care, Natasha McKenna instead received violent brutality.

Facing six deputies, how big was Natasha McKenna?

How big, physically, was Natasha McKenna? We have reported at various times that she was 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighed 130 pounds. But in the deputies’ reports, several of those involved in trying to restrain her noted that she was so thin a standard “restraint belt” could not be used to immobilize her hands. “It was discovered that Inmate McKenna was physically too small in the torso for the belt to take effect,” one deputy wrote. “She could easily, with her hands restrained to the belt, maneuver the belt up to her chest and therefore be able to attack with her hands.”

So the deputies had to take the belt off of her, and then cuff her behind her back. They then attached those handcuffs to one end of the ripp hobble, with the other end attached to the leg shackles. Removing the belt prolonged the process of getting McKenna controlled, and preceded the first of the four Taser jolts.

An autopsy report should show what McKenna’s height and weight were when she died, though she spent five days on life support at Inova Fairfax Hospital after her heart stopped beating in the jail on Feb. 3. She was removed from life support and died on Feb. 8. She was 37. No cause of death has yet been released.

Fairfax homicide detectives turned away from jail

After McKenna was rushed to the hospital on Feb. 3, someone called the Fairfax County police. Four law enforcement officials familiar with the case said that homicide detectives then went to the jail and were refused access, because McKenna was still alive. But the reports show that two Fairfax homicide detectives and a crime scene detective then went to the Inova Fairfax Hospital and conducted interviews there.

Sheriff Stacey Kincaid declined to discuss the specifics of McKenna’s case, but did say, “If we have a medical emergency, we call 911. If we have a person who has died, we call the police.” The sheriff’s office did call the police on Feb. 5, the officials said, when it became apparent that McKenna would not survive, and the police investigation began then.

Experts say Taser inappropriate for McKenna

We consulted a number of experts about the use of a Taser on a restrained prisoner, and four of them went on the record opposing such a practice. Ron Martinelli, a criminologist and former police officer from San Jose, said force is not usually the best tactic with mentally ill prisoners. He questioned why deputies did not back off once McKenna showed signs of resisting.

“You need to treat that prisoner like a patient, not a suspect,” Martinelli said. “She is already restrained, why don’t you let her calm down?”

Jail officials said they typically do not withdraw from a cell extraction once it has begun.

Todd Markley, a retired Arlington County officer who now instructs on use of force at the Northern Virginia Criminal Justice Academy, said, “We’re allowed to use force for two purposes: defense and control. Officers are allowed to branch that out as they see reasonable, and I don’t see that as reasonable, based on the facts you’ve given me.”

Charles Drago, the former Assistant Chief of Police in Ft. Lauderdale,  provides consulting and expert witness services for both plaintiff and defense attorneys in a variety of police practices including use of force and Taser-related incidents. Drago noted that “Taser still warns police officers in their training and their warning bulletins. When you use a Taser on someone showing signs of excited delirium or or increased heart rate or increased perspiration, sometimes people end up dead.”

Drago also noted, “If you put too many of these charges together, the folks in the medical field say when you go above three (charges), you get into a gray area about whether it causes cardiac arrest or not. It’s all part of the analysis.  That’s the problem with the Taser. It doesn’t have a mind of its own. Officers have to read the warning bulletins.”

McKenna’s previous scrapes with the jail deputies

McKenna had two prior incidents with deputies that were likely in the minds of both her and the deputies tasked with getting her out of her cell on the morning of Feb. 3. In the first, on Jan. 27, reports show that she had covered the window of her cell door with paper, then a blanket and a sheet. When a deputy pulled the blanket out of the cell through the food slot, with McKenna pulling on the other side, one of McKenna’s fingers was cut. “Look what you did to my finger,” the deputies wrote that she said, indicating her left index finger which had previously been amputated at the tip. But she later told the mental health staff that her finger was fine and that it was an old wound opening up again.

Four days later, on Jan. 31, McKenna reportedly placed her mattress in front her door, again blocking the window so deputies could not see inside. When the deputies opened the door to pull the mattress away from the window, “Inmate McKenna was able to get her entire body out of the door and began trying to scratch and bite us,” one deputy wrote. The deputies placed her on the floor but McKenna continued to fight, and so one deputy “struck Inmate McKenna in the face with his open left hand to stop her from trying to bite and scratch him.” When she struggled further, another deputy “delivered a strike to her chest area with the side of his right hand.” She was then placed into a restraint chair.

This may be why, on Feb. 3, after McKenna agreed to be placed in handcuffs for a trip to Alexandria, she began yelling, “You promised you wouldn’t hurt me!”

Newly Elected Black Mayor Locked Out Of City Hall By Police -

Newly Elected Black Mayor Locked Out Of City Hall By Police - UPDATED

Earlier this week, news surfaced that the election of an African-American mayor had had prompted police officers in Parma, Missouri to resign in protest.
Today's news from Kinloch, Missouri is much, much more disturbing.
Betty McCray was not only prevented from entering city hall, she was also told she’d been impeached before she got a chance to start.
McCray ran for mayor in the April 7 election and won.
“I won. The people spoke,” McCray said. “I was sworn in by the St. Louis County. Today I take office. I want them out, I want the keys.”
After the election results were certified earlier this week by the St. Louis County Board of Elections, Kinloch’s outgoing administration refused to allow the city clerk to give McCray the oath of office, claiming voter fraud.
“Today is the first day that that the city hall door has been unlocked. They keep it locked,” McCray said. “You got to beat and you got to bang (to get in). They have an officer police sitting right at the door.”
One of the hallmarks of our democracy has been the ability to honor election results and peacefully transfer power to the newly-elected administration, whether it be mayor or president. This really cannot stand.
On Thursday, McCray was ready to start on the job, but was met with strong resistance. Fox 2 was there with McCray when she showed up at city hall, where she was greeted by more than 20 Kinloch police officers.
One officer attempted to prevent himself from being filmed by pushing a camera away. No one was being allowed inside city hall, including the elected mayor.
Kinloch city attorney James Robinson informed McCray she had been impeached. However, the city refused to tell the new mayor the articles of impeachment.
“You have been served with articles of impeachment that were put in the mail,” said attorney James Robinson.
This is not how democracy works. This is how corrupt, vile police behave, but it is not how democracy works. I really hope McCray has good lawyers, and that the Department of Justice opens an investigation right now.
According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Kinloch is a small suburb between Ferguson and the St. Louis airport. It once had as many as 10,000 residents, but now it's dwindled down to the hundreds. McCray was elected with 38 votes to incumbent mayor Darren Small's 18.
During the past five years, the city has seen the imprisonment of a former mayor on federal fraud and theft charges, the hiring of a convicted felon as city manager, the selling of a previous city hall building to an alleged drug dealer and the unseating of at least two aldermen.
Now there are fresh allegations of voter fraud.
On April 7, McCray defeated Mayor Darren Small with 38 votes to his 18. Another candidate, Theda Wilson, received two votes. Petty ran unopposed. After the Board of Aldermen declined to swear them in, the two were sworn in by a St. Louis County circuit court clerk on Tuesday.
Let's make this a national story. If this doesn't stop here and now, it will forever damage this country. Trends begin locally, after all.
Watch the video, via Fox 2 News:

Update: There are serious questions to be asked here. According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch article, voter fraud was alleged because there had been evictions from city-owned apartments. Still, the results were certified. But if the city of Kinloch owns those apartments, then they're likely supporting their city operations (including the 20 police officers for a population of 299 people) from the rents they're receiving. Who wants to bet some of those rent dollars come from HUD?
What about cities receiving extra funds for their police departments from the federal government? Would that explain how they have one officer for every 6 residents?
This story is not about race as much as it is corruption and abuse of power, which makes me redouble my belief that the DOJ and other federal agencies need to come in here and investigate.
