The Trailer For The NWA Biopic, Straight Outta Compton

The first full trailer for the upcoming NWA biopic, Straight Outta Compton, has arrived. It not only features reflections from Dr. Dre and Ice Cube, it also features commentary from fellow Compton MC Kendrick Lamar. In the clip, the trio set up the story behind the film and why NWA's rise resonates today. "The same thing that we was going through in the '80s with the police, people are going through right now," says Ice Cube. "It's a good time for us to tell our story," Dre echoes. Watch the trailer above, ahead of the film's August 14 release.
