Graphic: How Just 6 Corps Own 90% of The Media

We have known for quite some time now that the flow of information is tightly controlled within the mainstream media system, but one graphic really highlights just how tightly controlled the information we are delivered truly is — and how a total of only 6 corporations run the show.
From Time Warner (CNN, HBO, TIME) to GE (NBC, Comcast), a whopping 6 corporations control 90% of the mainstream media within the United States. And what’s more, the amount of revenues from the tightly controlled mainstream media machine are enough to beat out Finland’s entire GDP, buy every NFL team 12 times, and fund the government bailout of General Motors 5 times. Checkout the powerful graphic below and share it with others to inform them as to how controlled the media really is:

An infographic on corporations that own mainstream media.

I was excited to see such a nicely designed image created, which actually comes from a college tuition cost website called Frugal Dad, as oftentimes people do not have the time to sit down and read 500 words on a particularly subject — let alone actually absorb the information and get it out. With videos, we can get more direct with media, but sometimes pictures (or infographics, as informational graphics like this one are now known) are much more effective when it comes to spreading the word.
Time and time again the mainstream media, owned by these 6 mega corporations and fronted by 232 media executives, continues to ignore the real issues in place of lesser stories. In addition, they also continue to fuel the erratic flames of the politically correct agenda into every news piece imaginable. From turning the Trayvon Martin case into a racial war of sorts, which even prominent black rappers spoke out about, to ignoring serious international ‘combat readiness’ war drills that the alternative news forced the mainstream media corporations to cover weeks later.
But despite the fact that the mainstream media still has the billions to fund its operations and beam the nightly news out into the living rooms of US citizens and others around the world, we see independent reporters and websites like myself reaching millions per month with virtually zero budget and absolutely no corporate backers. We’ve already seen MSNBC slump into poor ratings, and even Gallup polls have highlighted the completely obliterated trust of the general public in the mainstream media.
Even with enough greenbacks to purchase every NFL team in existence 12 times, the mainstream media still can’t compete with real news.

President Obama’s Stunning Admission: ‘White Part of Me is Racist’

NEW YORK – During his appearance on ‘The View’ this morning, President Obama joked about the size of his ears (“My wife says she can hear the ocean in them!”), spoke earnestly about tackling global warming and showed heartfelt concern about violence in the Middle East. But when the conversation turned to the acquittal of George Zimmerman, President Obama’s remarks caught the show’s hosts by surprise. Following is a transcript of that segment of the interview.
obama sad looking down 500x281 President Obamas Stunning Admission: White Part of Me is Racist
BARBARA WALTERS:  Mr. President, what went through your mind when you heard that George Zimmerman was found not guilty in the death of little Trayvon Martin?
OBAMA: When the verdict came in, a part of me was very disappointed. That part of me grieved for the Martin family. It wanted justice, no matter what we had to do to get it. That part of me yelled out, I am Trayvon Martin.
JOY BEHAR:  Is there another part of you, Mr. President?
OBAMA:  Yes there is, Joy. There’s the white part of me.
SHERRI SHEPHERD:  And how did the white part of you react to the verdict, Mr. President?
OBAMA:  Well, Sherri, the white part of me was overjoyed, giddy even. The news of Zimmerman’s acquittal had the same effect Jeremiah Wright sermons have on the black part of me.
BARBARA WALTERS:  Did the white part of you rejoice because the life of a black person just isn’t as important as the life of a white person, Mr. President?
OBAMA:  Unfortunately, yes.
(Joy Behar gasped)

OBAMA:  Of course it is, Whoopi. But he can’t help himself. Heck, we now know that racism is inherent in all white people. We’ve learned that from Chris Matthews.
BARBARA:  Whoopi? I can see the wheels turning. What are you thinking?
WHOOPI:  I uh, well – (Whoopie throws up her arms) Everything I know is wrong!
President Obama laughed along with the audience.
JOY:  Mr. President, the other day you spoke of your own experiences with racism in the past. Are you personally affected today with issues of race?
OBAMA:  Well, Joy, it can still be difficult. I mean, imagine having racist thoughts about African Americans and then seeing one looking back at you in the mirror. It can be terrifying.
JOY:  Oh, Mr. President, I’m so sorry. I wasn’t aware that you’ve had to cope ….
OBAMA: Now, don’t pity me, Joy. Do you pity Klan members or Fox News employees? Because a part of me is no different than they are.
t1larg.barack obama the view.t1larg President Obamas Stunning Admission: White Part of Me is RacistWHOOPI:  Mr. President, what about your children?
OBAMA:  Well, I have a love hate relationship with them. Obviously, the black part of me cherishes them, but the white part of me can be very passive aggressive. The other day I asked Malia to run and get me a piece of Nicorette gum. When she got up I put my foot out and tripped her.
JOY:  Oh no, Mr. President!
OBAMA:  It’s what white folks do, Joy. Heck, you’re white. You know what I’m talking about.
JOY:  But I’ve tried so hard, Mr. President…..
OBAMA:  I feel your pain, Joy. But it’s not your fault. It’s in your DNA.
BARBARA WALTERS:  Mr. President, how do those of us who are a hundred percent white redeem ourselves?
OBAMA:  Maybe you could visit a black neighborhood sometime. Get to know the folks. When was the last time you visited the south side of Chicago on a Saturday night?
BARBARA WALTERS:  I’m ashamed to say I never have, Mr. President.
OBAMA:  Well, either have I. The truth is, the white part of me is terrified I’d get robbed, beaten and possibly thrown into a dumpster.
r JOY BEHAR large570 President Obamas Stunning Admission: White Part of Me is RacistJOY: I’m embarrassed to say I’ve never visited the south side of Chicago either.
OBAMA: That’s probably for the best, Joy, cause you’d definitely get your ass kicked. I mean, not only are you white, but you’re a Jew.
JOY: But that’s not fair. I’ve always said really nice things about those people.
WHOOPI:  OK, this is startin’ to get crazy.
BARBARA WALTERS:  You know I’ve never dated a black man? But then I’ve never had one ask me out either.
OBAMA:  Maybe your speech impediment scares them away.
(Barbara Walters looks shocked)
OBAMA:  I’m sorry, Barbara, that was the white part of me who said that.
SHERRI:  What are your feelings on George Zimmerman, Mr. President?
OBAMA:  Well, the black part of me wants to see him in prison for killing my make-believe son. The white part of me is euphoric he’s free, but would like to see his mother deported back to Peru where she belongs.
BARBARA WALTERS:  We’re almost out of time, Mr. President. Before we go I’d like to ask you — if the black part of you were a tree, what kind of tree would you be?
OBAMA:  Oh, I guess I would be a strong Oak tree, Barbara.
BARBARA WALTERS:  And what kind of tree would the white part of you be?
OBAMA:  I’d still be a strong Oak tree, but there would be a noose dangling from one of my branches.

“The executive branch coup against America has succeeded. The question is: will it stand?”

“The executive branch coup against America has succeeded. The question is: will it stand?” -

The American people have suffered a coup d’etat, but they are hesitant to acknowledge it. The regime ruling in Washington today lacks constitutional and legal legitimacy. Americans are ruled by usurpers who claim that the executive branch is above the law and that the US Constitution is a mere “scrap of paper.”
An unconstitutional government is an illegitimate government. The oath of allegiance requires defense of the Constitution “against all enemies, foreign and domestic.” As the Founding Fathers made clear, the main enemy of the Constitution is the government itself. Power does not like to be bound and tied down and constantly works to free itself from constraints.
The basis of the regime in Washington is nothing but usurped power. The Obama Regime, like the Bush/Cheney Regime, has no legitimacy. Americans are oppressed by an illegitimate government ruling, not by law and the Constitution, but by lies and naked force. Those in government see the US Constitution as a “chain that binds our hands.”
The South African apartheid regime was more legitimate than the regime in Washington. The apartheid Israeli regime in Palestine is more legitimate. The Taliban are more legitimate. Muammar Gaddafi and Saddam Hussein were more legitimate.
The only constitutional protection that the Bush/Obama regime has left standing is the Second Amendment, a meaningless amendment considering the disparity in arms between Washington and what is permitted to the citizenry. No citizen standing with a rifle can protect himself and his family from one of the Department of Homeland Security’s 2,700 tanks, or from a drone, or from a heavily armed SWAT force in body armor.
Like serfs in the dark ages, American citizens can be picked up on the authority of some unknown person in the executive branch and thrown in a dungeon, subject to torture, without any evidence ever being presented to a court or any information to the person’s relatives of his/her whereabouts. Or they can be placed on a list without explanation that curtails their right to travel by air. Every communication of every American, except face-to-face conversation in non-bugged environments, is intercepted and recorded by the National Stasi Agency from which phrases can be strung together to produce a “domestic extremist.”
If throwing an American citizen in a dungeon is too much trouble, the citizen can simply be blown up with a hellfire missile launched from a drone. No explanation is necessary.
For the Obama tyrant, the exterminated human being was just a name on a list.
The president of the united states has declared that he possesses these constitutionally forbidden rights, and his regime has used them to oppress and murder US citizens. The president’s claim that his will is higher than law and the Constitution is public knowledge. Yet, there is no demand for the usurper’s impeachment. Congress is supine. The serfs are obedient.
The people who helped transform a democratically accountable president into a Caesar include John Yoo, who was rewarded for his treason by being accepted as a law professor at the University of California, Berkeley, Boalt school of law. Yoo’s colleague in treason, Jay Scott Bybee was rewarded by being appointed a federal judge on the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. We now have a Berkeley law professor teaching, and a federal circuit judge ruling, that the executive branch is above the law.
The executive branch coup against America has succeeded. The question is: will it stand? Today, the executive branch consists of liars, criminals, and traitors. The evil on earth seems concentrated in Washington.
Washington’s response to Edward Snowden’s evidence that Washington, in total contravention of law both domestic and international, is spying on the entire world has demonstrated to every country that Washington places the pleasure of revenge above law and human rights.
On Washington’s orders, its European puppet states refused overflight permission to the Bolivian presidential airliner carrying President Morales and forced the airliner to land in Austria and be searched. Washington thought that Edward Snowden might be aboard the airliner. Capturing Snowden was more important to Washington than respect for international law and diplomatic immunity.
How long before Washington orders its UK puppet to send in a SWAT team to drag Julian Assange from the Ecuadoran embassy in London and hand him over to the CIA for waterboarding?
On July 12 Snowden met in the Moscow airport with human rights organizations from around the world. He stated that the illegal exercise of power by Washington prevents him from traveling to any of the three Latin American countries who have offered him asylum. Therefore, Snowden said that he accepted Russian President Putin’s conditions and requested asylum in Russia.
Insouciant americans and the young unaware of the past don’t know what this means. During my professional life it was Soviet Russia that persecuted truth tellers, while America gave them asylum and tried to protect them. Today it is Washington that persecutes those who speak the truth, and it is Russia that protects them.
The American public has not, this time, fallen for Washington’s lie that Snowden is a traitor. The polls show that a majority of Americans see Snowden as a whistleblower.
It is not the US that is damaged by Snowden’s revelations. It is the criminal elements in the US government that have pulled off a coup against democracy, the Constitution, and the American people who are damaged. It is the criminals who have seized power, not the American people, who are demanding Snowden’s scalp.
The Obama Regime, like the Bush/Cheney Regime, has no legitimacy. Americans are Oppressed by an illegitimate government ruling, not by law and the Constitution, but by lies and naked force.
Under the Obama tyranny, it is not merely Snowden who is targeted for extermination, but every truth-telling American in the country. It was Department of Homeland Security boss Janet Napolitano, recently rewarded for her service to tyranny by being appointed Chancellor of the of the University of California system, who said that Homeland Security had shifted its focus from Muslim terrorists to “domestic extremists,” an elastic and undefined term that easily includes truth-tellers like Bradley Manning and Edward Snowden who embarrass the government by revealing its crimes. The criminals who have seized illegitimate power in Washington cannot survive unless truth can be suppressed or redefined as treason.
If Americans acquiesce to the coup d’etat, they will have placed themselves firmly in the grip of tyranny.

Black and Unarmed In America

Kimani Gray

Sixteen-year-old Kimani was shot four times in the front and side of his body and three times in the back by two New York City police officers as he left a friend's birthday party in Brooklyn on March 9, 2013. The only publicly identified eyewitness is standing by her claim that he was empty-handed .

when                                  he w
as gunned do

Kendrec McDade

Nineteen-year-old college student McDade was shot and killed in March 2012 when officers responded to a report of an armed robbery of a man in Pasadena, Calif. He was later found to be unarmed, with only a cellphone in his pocket. His death has prompted his family to file a lawsuit, in which McDade's parents argue that he was left on the street for a prolonged period of time without receiving first aid. According to court documents, McDade's last words were, "Why did they shoot me?" The officers involved were initially placed on paid administrative leave but have since returned to duty.

Timothy Russell and Malissa Williams

Russell and his passenger, Malissa Williams, were killed in Cleveland after police officers fired 137 rounds into their car after a chase in December 2012. Officers said they saw a possible weapon, but no weapon or shell casings were found in the fleeing car or along the chase route.

Ervin Jefferson

The 18-year-old was shot and killed by two security guards -- also African American -- outside his Atlanta home on Saturday, March 24, 2012. His mother says that he was unarmed and trying to protect his sister from a crowd that was threatening her.

Amadou Diallo

In 1999 four officers in street clothes approached Diallo, a West African immigrant with no criminal record, on the stoop of his New York City building, firing 41 shots and striking him 19 times as he tried to escape. They said they thought the 23-year-old had a gun. It was a wallet. The officers were all acquitted of second-degree-murder charges.

Patrick Dorismond

The 26-year-old father of two young girls was shot to death in 2000 during a confrontation with undercover police officers who asked him where they could purchase drugs. An officer claimed that Dorismond -- who was unarmed -- grabbed his gun and caused his own death. But the incident made many wonder whether the recent acquittal of the officers in the Amadou Diallo case sent a signal that the police had a license to kill without consequence.

Ousmane Zongo

In 2003 Officer Bryan A. Conroy confronted and killed Zongo in New York City during a raid on a counterfeit-CD ring with which Zongo had no involvement. Relatives of the 43-year-old man from Burkina Faso settled a lawsuit against the city for $3 million. The judge in the trial of the officer who shot him (and was convicted of criminally negligent homicide but did not serve jail time) said he was "insufficiently trained, insufficiently supervised and insufficiently led."

Timothy Stansbury Jr.

Unarmed and with no criminal record, 19-year-old Stansbury was killed in 2004 in a Brooklyn, N.Y., stairwell. The officer who shot him said he was startled and fired by mistake. Police Commissioner Ray Kelly called his death "a tragic incident that compels us to take an in-depth look at our tactics and training, both for new and veteran officers." A grand jury deemed it an accident.

Sean Bell

In the early-morning hours of what was supposed to be 23-year-old Bell's wedding day, police fired more than 50 bullets at a car carrying him and his friends outside a Queens, N.Y., strip club in 2006. Bell was killed, and two of his friends were wounded. The city of New York agreed to pay more than $7 million to settle a federal lawsuit filed by the family and two friends of Bell. The three detectives who were charged -- one of whom yelled "gun," although Bell was unarmed -- were found not guilty of all charges. Just this March, the NYPD fired four of the officers involved in the shooting for disobeying departmental guidelines on the scene.

Orlando Barlow

Barlow was surrendering on his knees in front of four Las Vegas police officers when Officer Brian Hartman shot him in 2003. Hartman was 50 feet away and said he thought the unarmed 28-year-old was reaching for a gun. The deadly shooting was ruled "excusable." But a federal investigation later revealed that Hartman and other officers printed T-shirts labeled "BDRT," which stood for "Baby Daddy Removal Team" and "Big Dogs Run Together," and that they'd used excessive force during two separate investigations.

Aaron Campbell

In 2005 Campbell was shot in the back by Portland, Ore., police Officer Ronald Frashour, who said he thought the unarmed man was reaching toward his waistband for a weapon. Witnesses said the 25-year-old was walking backward toward police with his hands locked behind his head moments before the fatal shot was fired. A grand jury cleared Frashour of criminal wrongdoing but sent a letter to the county district attorney's office condemning police handling of the incident. Campbell's mother received a $1.2 settlement in the family's federal wrongful-death lawsuit against the city of Portland.

Victor Steen

In 2009, 17-year-old Victor, who was riding his bicycle, refused to stop when chased by a police officer in a cruiser in Pensacola, Fla. In response, the officer aimed his Taser out of the driver's window and fired and then ran over the unarmed teen, killing him. The deadly incident was captured on video. A judgeruled that no crime was committed.

Steven Eugene Washington

Washington was shot by gang-enforcement officers Allan Corrales and George Diego in Los Angeles one night in 2010 after he approached them and appeared to remove something from his waistband. The officers said they'd heard a loud sound in the area and the 27-year-old, who was autistic, was looking around suspiciously. No weapon was ever recovered.

Alonzo Ashley

Police say that 29-year-old Ashley refused to stop splashing water from a drinking fountain on his face at the Denver Zoo one hot day in 2011, then made irrational comments and threw a trash can. The responding officers, who didn't dispute that he was unarmed, killed him with a Taser, saying he had "extraordinary strength." No criminal charges were filed against them.

Wendell Allen

Allen was fatally shot in the chest by officers executing a warrant on his house on March 7, 2012, in New Orleans. The 20-year-old was unarmed, and five children were home at the time of his death. Police found 4.5 ounces of marijuana on Allen after they killed him. An attorney for the family says that New Orleans police are investigating whether Officer Joshua Colclough was wrong to pull the trigger.

Ronald Madison and James Brissette

In 2005, in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, five officers opened fire on an unarmed family on the east side of the Danziger Bridge, killing 17-year-old James Brissette and wounding four others. Next, officers shot at brothers Lance and Ronald Madison. Ronald, a 40-year-old man with severe mental disabilities, was running away when he was hit, and an officer stomped on and kicked him before he died. In a federal criminal trial, five officers involved in what have become known as the "Danziger Bridge Shootings" were convicted of various civil rights violations, but not murder.

Travares McGill

In 2005 in Sanford, Fla. (the same county in which Travyon Martin was killed), the 16-year-old was killed by two security guards, one of whom testified that Travares was trying to hit him with his car. But evidence showed that the bullet that killed the teen hit him in the middle of the back and that the guard kept firing even after the car was no longer headed toward him.

Ramarley Graham

In 2012 Officer Richard Haste shot and killed 18-year-old Graham in the bathroom of his grandmother’s Bronx, N.Y., home after a chase while he was attempting to flush a bag of marijuana down the toilet. Police did not have a warrant to enter the house, and Graham had no weapon. A grand jury charged the officer with manslaughter, but a judge tossed the indictment in May, ruling that the prosecution inadvertently misled jurors by telling them not to consider whether he was warned that Graham had a gun.

Oscar Grant

Oakland, Calif., transit-police Officer Johannes Mehserle said that he accidentally used his gun instead of his Taser when he shot Grant on a train platform on New Year's Day 2009. The 22-year-old was lying facedown with his hands behind his back, being subdued by another police officer, when he was killed. Mehserle was convicted of involuntary manslaughter and sentenced to only two years for taking Grant's life. He was released after 11 months.
