This "people's voice" award keeps the spotlight on all Nominees long after the nominations are announced – and encourages music fans to actively support their favorite artists while discovering other great talent. Respect and support for exceptional independent music is what The IMAs are all about. More than 40 percent of the "people's voice" winners named today differed from those named in June by an industry judging panel.
One of the most compelling things about these Vox Pop results is the undeniable proof that active bands and motivated fans are a winning combination!
Vox Pop Winners will be promoted to international, national, regional and online media outlets; as well as talent buyers, radio programmers, and others.
