In a vicious, three-year-long custody battle, Fox News madman Bill O’Reilly lost custody of his minor children to his ex-wife, Maureen McPhilmy, reported Gawker.
The case was ended by a Nassau County Supreme Court justice. Gawker noted that New York state family records are sealed, but it’s been reported that the justice involved heard testimony that O’Reilly physically assaulted McPhilmy.
Gawker reported that:
According to a source familiar with the facts of the case, a court-appointed forensic examiner testified at a closed hearing that O’Reilly’s daughter claimed to have witnessed her father dragging McPhilmy down a staircase by her neck, apparently unaware that the daughter was watching.
Ever since they separated in 2010, O’Reilly has reportedly been a vile and disgusting human being to his family and McPhilmy.
When McPhilmy began dating Nassau County detective Jeffrey Gross after the separation, O’Reilly allegedly used his connections with high-ranking police officers in the department to “have something done about Gross,” reported Gawker.
Lynne Kulakowski was assigned to be McPhilmy’s and O’Reilly’s neutral therapist to assist in custodial disputes, but O’Reilly added Kulakowski to his household payroll. A judge later explained that she was required “to perform virtually all of [O’Reilly’s] parental duties.
A unanimous decision in a New York state appeals court ruled that “O’Reilly’s behavior could undermine the integrity” of the custodial agreement. That’s what prompted the hearing to determine if McPhilmy could receive sole custody.
Gawker also reported that two years ago, O’Reilly actively sought to get McPhilmy excommunicated from the Roman Catholic Church.
O’Reilly and McPhilmy have remained silent on the case, and O’Reilly has reportedly appealed the custody ruling.
If the accusations of spousal abuse are true, O’Reilly doesn’t deserve his children.
