Philadelphia Police Shot 400 People In 7 Years: DOJ Report

Philadelphia police officers were responsible for 400 civilian shootings over the last seven years, according to a new report from the Department of Justice.

The report also found that there was “an undercurrent of significant strife between the community” and the police.

This report looked at the number of times Philadelphia police officers shot someone between 2007 and 2013, finding nearly 400 such incidents over that seven-year span. Fifty-nine unarmed people were fatally shot over this period, and half of the unarmed people were shot because the officer saw something (like a cellphone) or some action (like a person pulling at the waist of their pants) and misidentified it as a threat, the report states.

New training on when officers should use force and how to de-escalate situations is needed, the DOJ found.

Bloomberg noted that 400 shootings in seven years is an average of about one shooting every week.

Philadelphia Police Chief Charles H. Ramsey asked the DOJ to conduct its investigation and he told the Philadelphia Inquirer that many of the DOJ's recommendations have already been implemented.

Many of the DOJ's findings mirrored those mentioned at community meetings and previous lawsuits against the department, the Inquirer reported.

Two More States Added To Jade Helm 15 Exercises - Will Include 'Surgical Strikes' And 'Extractions'

With Jade Helm 15 having gone viral across the internet, US Army Special Operations Command is having to push back against 'alarmists claims' that we're actually witnessing 'martial law-style' drills according to Stars and Stripes while 2 more states, Florida and Mississippi, have added exercises to their states that will include 'surgical strikes' and 'extractions' according to a news conference addressing Jade Helm 15 included in the 1st video below for you to hear for yourself. Interestingly enough, the US military is unable to view websites reporting on Jade Helm 15 due to their sophisticated firewall which prevents them from accessing 'truth' websites. From the Stars and Stripes story:

Officials at USASOCM were not able to immediately verify the authenticity of the (Jade Helm 15) slide show because their computer firewalls prevented them from accessing the websites where the document appeared.

When Jade Helm 15 originally broke on the internet, government trolls and the uninformed immediate pounced all over the comment sections of websites reporting the story, calling it false, made-up, fiction, and videographer Lorri Anderson addresses the trolls in the video below, proving beyond a shadow of a doubt that the Jade Helm 15 exercises are 'real' via the words of Jade Helm Operations Planner Thomas Meade who tells us himself that additional operations will be held in Florida and Mississippi in addition to the other 7 states previously reported. Many questions surround Jade Helm 15 such as, why would Texas be listed as 'hostile'? One answer for that being only 2 years ago,over 125,000 people petitioned the White House requesting that Texas be allowed to peacefully secede from the US, a petition that was unsuccessful. Why are these exercises only being held at night? According to a trusted ANP source, when such exercises lose the element of surprise, they must be modified or scrapped all together. With nuclear war potentially in our immediate future, why is there no preparation for that while the stealthy focus of the Obama administration is on American gun owners with NO RAIDS upon KNOWN terrorist training camps in the US? With Christians now being targetted for slaughter worldwide, why is there no outcry from either the White House nor this same military against that targetted slaughter? While the question 'what is mastering the human domain' has continually popped up, one look at this document from the US Army War College's 'Civilian Research Project' answers many questions; you can see the document in its' entirety embedded below video. Directly from page 16 of the document:

As LTG Keith Walker notes, “the rising velocity of human interaction through the internet and social media makes influencing human behavior the centerpiece of military strategy.”

He further opines that, “the human is absent in our current doctrine, period. We don’t talk about it.” And questions, “do we have a gap in our strategic thinking?”

Comments like these from LTG Walker are welcoming for rethinking Army capabilities and is often a catalyst for change. General Robert W. Cone, the Commanding General of the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command commented, “The central figure of the last 10 years of war is the importance of the human domain. We paid to learn the language, culture, tribes and fidelity in terms of network targeting… we must put in place structural imperatives so that we learn those lessons and add them to our doctrine.” 

After a brief 2 minute 40 second introduction which includes words of warning and wisdom from former US President Ronald Reagan, the meat of this video begins and shifts to the recorded news conference about Jade Helm 15 beginning at the 12 minute mark that continues for the next 15 minutes. This includes news of Jade Helm 15 drills in Florida and Mississippi  as well as news on 'surgical strikes and extractions'. While there is a slight echo heard during the news conference portion in this video, you can hear the entire press conference here without that minor distraction. Adults Targeted as Federal Government Prepares to Track the Unvaccinated

 

During the National Vaccine Advisory Committee’s (NVAC) February meeting, American adults were put on notice by Big Brother that non-compliance with federal vaccine recommendations will not be tolerated. Public health officials have unveiled a new plan to launch a massive nationwide vaccination promotion campaign involving private business and non-profit organizations to pressure all adults to comply with the adult vaccination schedule approved by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC).¹

 

NVAC has authored the National Adult Immunization Plan (NAIP) and, once finalized, the plan will be turned over to the Interagency Adult Immunization Task Force (AIFT) to create an implementation plan. Notably, this task force is composed of “vested interest” stakeholders and no consumer representation for those groups concerned with vaccine safety and informed consent.

 

NVIC has submitted our public commentsand recommendations for the NVAC’s draft National Adult Immunization Plan.² Your opportunity to submit your comments and concerns about this plan has beenextended to March 23^rd. We encourage all of our readers to participate in the public comment process and submit comments to the NVAC on the NAIP. What you need to know – the nutshell. 

The basis of the NAIP rests on Healthy People 2020 Goals,³ many of which are arbitrary.⁴ The key fact the plan seems to lose sight of in using these goals as its foundation is ...THEY ARE GOALS. These goals have no legal authority over your healthcare decisions and are being used by government officials to shape public health policy, which in turn is spurring legal mandates to force you to comply with them.⁵

 

The adult immunization plan also “incentivizes” doctors and other vaccine providers to convert patient data into Electronic Health Record (EHR) formats that can then be shared across state and federal electronic databases to track national vaccine coverage rates and also track and identify who is and is not vaccinated. Many states already have electronic vaccine tracking registries (Immunization Information Systems - IIS) in place, but do not share this information due to laws preventing the sharing of personal medical information and/or limited vaccination data on adults. This is where financial and other types of incentives come in to convince vaccine providers and state legislators to participate in the gathering of this private medical information on all adults.  

Big Government is Partnering with Your Employer, Community & Religious Organizations 

The NAIP states that it will take more than providers raising awareness about the adult schedule and encouraging compliance to meet Healthy People 2020 goals. So the NAIP contains objectives that foster partnerships with your employer and your community and religious organizations to make you and all adults get every federally recommended vaccine according to the government-approved schedule.

 

The NAIP makes it clear that in the future, all American adults will be informed of the recommended adult schedule at every possible opportunity outside the healthcare provider domain. You will be encouraged to comply with the adult schedule not only by your healthcare provider, but also via community-based partnerships to ensure that you have the opportunity to roll up your sleeve at work, school, church and other community gatherings.

 

NVIC has always supported awareness and access to preventative healthcare options, including access to vaccines for everyone who wants to use them. However, there is a difference between awareness, access, recommendations and mandates. In the past, these types of government vaccine use plans do not just seek to increase awareness and access but also make recommendations that foster vaccine mandates without flexible medical, religious and conscientious belief exemptions that  align with the informed consent ethic. 

Tracking Vaccination Status Raises Privacy Concerns 

Adults should examine this plan carefully because the U.S. Constitution guarantees American citizens the right to privacy.⁶ In that context, it is important to understand that the NAIP objectives include electronically harnessing your personal medical information and that of all adults for the purpose of increasing adult vaccine uptake in the U.S. by tracking your vaccination status, with little regard for your privacy.⁷

 

There is no language in the plan that provides for consumer privacy protections. This is a glaring omission given the acknowledged and known risks for patient data being hacked (security breaches) by malicious outside entities.⁸ The plan does not include provisions for raising consumer awareness of their ability to opt out of electronic tracking and patient data sharing schemes.^9 10 

Closing Vaccine Safety Research Gaps Not Included in Plan 

While the NAIP also supports increased reporting to the federal Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) and ongoing analysis of claims submitted to the federal Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP), it is hollow support. For this to be meaningful, stronger language is needed to support closing vaccine safety research gaps highlighted by the Institute of Medicine’s (IOM) series of vaccine safety reports ¹¹ to lessen the number of VICP off-the-table compensation claims.

 

These off-the-table claims are a direct result of the continued expansion of the numbers of government recommended adult (and childhood) vaccines without the accompanying identification of vaccine side effects and injury outcomes to expand the federal Vaccine Injury Table (VIT) that governs the awarding of vaccine injury compensation. Off-the-table adult vaccine injury claims now represent the majority of claims¹² filed with the VICP and the compensation process has become  highly adversarial and costly.

 

As NVIC President Barbara Loe Fisher stated at the U.S. Health Freedom Congress last year when pointing out that responses to vaccines and infectious diseases are individual: 

“We do not all respond the same way to infectious diseases¹³ and we do not all respond the same way to pharmaceutical products like vaccines.^{14 15 16 17} Public health laws that fail to respect biodiversity and force everyone to be treated the same are unethical and dangerous.”  

The NAIP fails to acknowledge these facts. 

Compliance at the Expense of Bodily Autonomy 

Vaccine mandates are made at a state level and the NAIP is a federal vaccine use promotion plan that is has no legal authority to turn government vaccine use recommendations into vaccine use mandates.  

 

However, much like the recommendations made by NVAC a few years ago for healthcare workers to receive annual flu shots,¹⁸ these recommendations are likely to result in future de facto vaccine mandates for adults, whether through employer requirements,¹⁹ or actual state laws. Given the introduction of legislation²⁰ this year in many states to remove non-medical vaccine exemptions and restrict medical exemptions for school age children in an effort to force parents to comply with the CDC’s recommended childhood vaccine schedule, there is little doubt that that the NVAC’s latest plan will result in similar actions to force adults to use all federally recommended vaccines.

 

One only has to read stories posted NVIC’s Cry For Vaccine Freedom Wall by healthcare workers who have refused flu shots and are being fired from their jobs to understand the threat posed by the NAIP. Is your profession next? The short answer is yes.

 

Make no mistake about this plan’s intent, if “awareness” efforts and “incentivization” of vaccine policy do not increase adult vaccine uptake, the partnering with your employer and other community groups is meant to lower the hammer and force you to comply. The electronic tracking systems that are enthusiastically being embraced by not only the federal government but also state governments and employers, without regard for your privacy, will be used to identify noncompliers. 

Informed Consent Freedom at Risk 

If you haven’t read Dr. Suzanne Humphries’ book Dissolving Illusions,²¹ you may not realize that history is about to repeat itself. Government enforced vaccination through identification and door-to-door efforts to make everyone comply, like was seen with smallpox vaccination campaigns a century ago, is a real possibility again in America. Only this time it won’t just be about one vaccine – it will be about a lot of vaccines you will be forced to get.

 

The noose being tightened around the necks of our children is being thrown over the necks of adults as well. The tightening of that noose is growing daily in an attempt to strangle vaccine freedom of choice by eradicating the ethical principle of informed consent.

 

Adults and their children are being asked to accept a one-size-fits-all vaccine schedule that does not allow for the ability to delay or decline one or more vaccines for religious and conscientious beliefs. This is very dangerous when the medical exemption has been narrowed by government so that almost no health condition qualifies for a medical exemption anymore. Families already personally impacted by vaccine reactions, injuries and deaths will be faced with more loss, including their financial stability if they are forced to be revaccinated.

 

The human right to protect bodily integrity and autonomy – the core value of the informed consent ethic – is at stake.

 

This battle is not about an anti- or pro- vaccine position. It is a battle over freedom, values and beliefs.²² What is at risk is your ability as a parent and individual to decide what medical risks you are willing to accept and vaccination is the forefront of this battle.

 

For over three decades NVIC has supported informed consent protections in all U.S. vaccine laws and policies, which means that parents and individuals must receive full and accurate information on vaccine risks and benefits and retain the right to make voluntary decisions to accept, delay or decline one or more vaccines without being sanctioned for they decision they make.

Your rights are being eroded and vaccine exemptions are under aggressive attack in many states. NVIC will continue to advocate for your freedom as we have done for over 30 years,but this battle will not be won without your voice and action.

White parents demand apology for school’s Black History Month event

Thursday morning, Fox News’ morning show “Fox & Friends” interviewed two white Virginia parents, Rebecca and Charles, who are outraged because their 8-year-old daughter’s school district held a Black History Month event.

The point of contention for the parents was how blatantly the gathering seemed to show support for the #BlackLivesMatter movement and other protests that have been making headlines over the past several months.

“Everywhere that we looked were students, high school students, wearing shirts that said ‘Black Lives Matter, I Can’t Breathe,” said Rebecca. “As I was flipping through my program, it had ‘Hands Up, Don’t Shoot.’”

Charles wanted to yank his daughter from the auditorium immediately, but his wife thought it best to at least let her stay long enough to sing with her school’s choir — but then, things (in her mind) went from bad to even worse.

“Students started coming out on stage saying things like, ‘I’m from Ferguson, Missouri. I was told to put my hands up. I did and I was shot seven times. My name is Michael Brown,’” Rebecca recalled. “I immediately realized that this was not something that was a good idea for my daughter to be seeing.”

After the assembly, Rebecca and Charles’ daughter asked why cops shoot “good people”— a conversation that Charles just wasn’t ready to have. The parents are outraged that they were put into a position to speak to their child about racism and are now seeking an apology.

No, we are not making this up.

US House lawmakers: Iran deal must halt nuclear program for 'decades 367 members of the House of Representatives

A bipartisan group of US lawmakers has signed a letter telling President Barack Obama that any nuclear accord must constrain Iran's nuclear program for “decades” before Congress will roll back sanctions.

The letter, which was signed by 367 members of the House of Representatives and released Monday by the House Foreign Affairs Committee, said, "A final comprehensive nuclear agreement must constrain Iran's nuclear infrastructure so that Iran has no pathway to a bomb, and that agreement must be long-lasting.”

In any agreement, “Congress must be convinced that its terms foreclose any pathway to a bomb, and only then will Congress be able to consider permanent sanctions relief,” according to the letter.

House Speaker John Boehner and Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy are among those who signed the letter.

The letter comes at a time when officials from Iran and the P5+1 –  the US, Britain, France, China, Russia and Germany – are engaged in intense negotiations to work out a comprehensive agreement aimed at ending the longstanding dispute over the Islamic Republic’s civilian nuclear work as a July 1 deadline approaches.

The United States, Israel, and some of their allies accuse Iran of pursuing military objectives in its civilian nuclear program.

Washington and its allies have imposed illegal sanctions on Iran based on the unfounded accusation that Tehran is pursuing non-civilian objectives in its nuclear program.

Iran rejects the allegation, arguing that as a committed signatory to the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and a member of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), it has the right to use nuclear technology for peaceful purposes.

The letter, signed by a majority of Republicans and Democrats in the House, said that “negotiators must obtain maximum commitments to transparency by Iran.”

"Any inspection and verification regime must allow for short notice access to suspect locations, and verifiable constraints on Iran's nuclear program must last for decades,” it added.

The House representatives also warned Obama that any sanctions relief on Iran as part of an emerging nuclear deal would require new legislation from Congress.

"Should an agreement with Iran be reached, permanent sanctions relief from congressionally-mandated sanctions would require new legislation. In reviewing such an agreement, Congress must be convinced that its terms foreclose any pathway to a bomb, and only then will Congress be able to consider permanent sanctions relief," the letter said.

On Friday, the sixth day of the latest round of negotiations in the Swiss city of Lausanne, another meeting was held between Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and US Secretary of State John Kerry.

Following his talks with Kerry, Zarif said on Friday, “We made good progress over this week. We’ve done a lot of hard work, but some work remains ahead.” On Saturday, Kerry said that "substantial ​progress" had been made toward a final accord.

The negotiations are supposed to resume this week in Switzerland.

US soldier admits killing unarmed Afghans for sport

Jeremy Morlock, 23, tells US military court he was part of a 'kill team' that faked combat situations to murder Afghan civilians

An American soldier has pleaded guilty to being part of a "kill team" who deliberately murdered Afghan civilians for sport last year.

Army Specialist Jeremy Morlock, 23, told a military court he had helped to kill three unarmed Afghans. "The plan was to kill people, sir," he told an army judge in Fort Lea, near Seattle, after his plea.

The case has caused outraged headlines around the world. In a series of videotaped confessions to investigators, some of which have been broadcast on American television, Morlock detailed how he and other members of his Stryker brigade set up and faked combat situations so that they could kill civilians who posed no threat to them. Four other soldiers are still to come to trial over the incidents.

The case is a PR disaster for America's military and has been compared to the notorious incidents of torture that emerged from the Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq. This week the German magazine Der Spiegel published three pictures that showed American soldiers, including Morlock, posing with the corpse of a young Afghan boy as if it were a hunting trophy.

Some soldiers apparently kept body parts of their victims, including a skull, as souvenirs. In a statement issued in response to the publication of the photos the US army apologised to the families of the dead. "[The photos are] repugnant to us as human beings and contrary to the standards and values of the United States army," the statement said.

Morlock has told investigators that the murders took place between January and May last year and were instigated by an officer in his unit, Staff Sergeant Calvin Gibbs. He described how elaborate plans were made to pick out civilian targets, kill them and then make their deaths look like they were insurgents. In his confession Morlock described shooting a victim as Gibbs tossed a grenade at him. "We identify a guy. Gibbs makes a comment, like, you know, you guys wanna wax this guy or not," Morlock said in the confession.

Morlock now stands to be sentenced to at least 24 years in jail but with eligibility for parole after seven years. That has come about because Morlock struck a plea bargain that will see a lighter sentence in return for testifying against his fellow soldiers.
