She's So Fresh Showcase

A Dope Emcee Is A Dope Emcee .... KRS-One said It Best!! If There's One thing that irritates me the most in Hip-Hop is when it's misrepresented. To Have a Hip-Hop publication that doesn't speak on female contributions past & present as if Female Emcees List only Consists of Foxy Brown, Lil' Kim & Trina is just Blasphemy!! As a Fan of Hip-Hop @ a young age I was influenced by Salt n Pepa, Roxanne Shante,MC Lyte,Queen Latifah,Ms.Melody,Bahamadiah,Lauryn Hill just as much as Dougie Fresh,LL Cool J,RunDMC,Slick Rick,KRS One,Rakim. When you speak about balance & choice In Hip-Hop if we ever come remotely close to 88' again ,Hip-hop will have offically come full circle!! I can honestly say after witnessing Emcees Eyeris,Controversy,Bless Roxwell, Tiye Phoenix & Lin Que ,Author Thembisa S. Mshaka (Put Your Dreams First) & Singer/Songwriter Miz Metro @ the All Female She's So Fresh Showcase @ Karma Lounge that Hip-Hop can offically exhale!!

Leah Fairchild Captivates The Crowd @ The Highline Ballroom!!

The Highline Ballroom was filled with a lot of Future Stars, but none would shine brighter then BlackOut Inks own Ms. Leah Fairchild. With the crowd packed wall-to-wall on both floors the LongIsland Newcomer commanded the stage with her background dancers "Shhh" (hush ur mouth) like a seasoned vet. Going from Sexy,Nasty to Classy Leah Performed 2 singles from her Debut Ep "Role Play". Beginning with "Enough" a sexy dance track , which had Leah & Crew shaking' what their mommas gave them to the crowds delight. Then after a quick costume change into what looked like some tight Leather Dominatrix Outfits, The Girls again had every guy in the room in the palm of their hands fantasizing they where blindfolded, handcuffed & ready for some action!! Leah changed again switching clothes & tempo into a beautiful evening dress to belt out some serious notes singing the classic "At Last" by the great Eta James. The crowd erupted several times as Leah flawlessly sang every note.

Pls vote for Leah Fairchild @ www.breaknthrough.com for best showcase performance Sponsored by Vh-1 Save The Music & The TAO Experience!! For More info about Leah's Music visit www.leahfairchild.com
